Dollar General

Very busy store today but as soon we got up to cash register the line went quick . And one I arrived at store they asked me if I needed help,all the staff was friendly and helpful, I usually don't shop at this dollar General but found everything I needed. One im in the area I'll stop in again.

Great and very friendly staff!! Always hard at work!! I did a little research as to why this DG store runs in the "HOTTEST" part of the summer without AC for their employees. Why the parking lot is DILAPIDATED and why the grounds around the parking lot are full of weeds, grass and trash! The Ward store is not owned by DG Corporate. The owner(s) of the Ward store should be ashamed of themselves for NOT APPRECIATING THE INDIVIDUALS THAT PUT THE MONEY IN THEIR POCKETS!! For not remodeling this store to make it look New, Nice and Clean like every store in Cabot, and Beebe instead of taking the path of least resistance!!! If they say that they cannot afford it due to not have corporate funds, then they should do a little bit at a time or sell it to someone that can!! I think about how it would most likely make the employees feel appreciated if the owner(s) would do their part in owning and running their store with some Pride instead of being neglectful in every way possible!!

The lady up front walked away from the register while I was shopping. When I went to check out, she hadn’t come back so I went to the self checkout. She RAN up to the front and apologized for not being there bc she was stocking the shelf. (I honestly didn’t mind.) She offered to check me out at the register, and held friendly conversation with me throughout the rest of our interaction. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, but I was very impressed with her initiative and kindness!

Reviewing the reviews as I wanted to see what some of our shoppers thought. I'm the SM at this location. We always try to be friendly and helpful not just to our regular customers, but to those that it might just be their first visit. Any questions, or concerns then I'll be happy to assist you. I love the employees here. The store itself is very small. More often than not they don't have enough store to keep their shelves stocked. 90% of the time that I shop here, at least one of the items I went to buy is out of stock. As a result I often pass my hometown store with all my favorite workers to go to another store next town over because I'll end up having to stop somewhere anyways to get what this DG didn't have.
